The brands listed above, and many others out there, are more than just a product. These brands and more have what we call fabric blends.

What are fabric blends?

Fabric blends are a combination of different fabric composition types intertwined to create the perfect-fitting soft shirt.

The most common include polyester, cotton, and rayon. When you look at the tag of a t-shirt, you may notice some percentages. Those percentages are the fabric blends for the garment examples can be listed:

  • 100% Cotton
  • 50% Cotton / 50% Polyester
  • 50% Cotton / 25% Polyester / 25% Rayon

Polyester – Retains the original shape and flexibility of the shirt. However, polyester can have dye migration. So, we use special blocking ink to keep the colors opaque.

Cotton – The most common basic printed fabric. Contributes to comfort and durability.

Rayon – Unique, smooth, and soft. Moisture absorption and breathable fabric. Rayon is prone to shrinking, wrinkling, and fading.
